Today, the B.Com Department, under the aegis of the Expert Club, successfully organized a Financial Statement Analysis activity for the students of B.Com Semester 5. The session aimed to enhance students’ practical understanding of accounting concepts and financial interpretation.
Students actively participated in groups, analyzing the financial statements of leading listed companies such as TCS, Infosys, HDFC Bank, and others. Each group presented their analysis through well-structured PowerPoint presentations, showcasing their insights into profitability, liquidity, solvency, and overall financial health of the companies.
The activity not only fostered teamwork and research skills but also helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application. It was a valuable experiential learning opportunity, enabling students to critically evaluate financial data and develop analytical thinking.
