Banking ombudsman and Cyber-Crime

The M.com Department of Nandkunvarba Mahila College organized a Guest Lecture in banking course for second Year (Semester – 03) of students on 18th July 2024 from 01:00 PM to 02:30 PM. The topic of the lecture was ‘Banking ombudsman and Cyber-Crime’.
Mss. Kanchan Kumari, Chief Manager, Deposit and Value Added Services Department, Nilambaug Main Branch, State Bank of India, was the resource person for the session. Mss. Kanchan Kumari explained to the students the different banking ombudsman and their need, functions and importance.
The students were imparted knowledge about the basics of banking ombudsman system in India with detailed knowledge about all the contemporary trends & issues in the Indian Banking Sector. Mss. Kanchan Kumari also threw light upon various other important scenarios of Indian Banking sector like cybercrime and Career Opportunities, how to avoid negative aspects of E- Banking and connection of Banking & insurance sector in India. The session was a good learning experience for the students as they also got answers to their queries pertaining to Indian Banking Sector and would surely help them to give proper shape to their careers.
