BBA – Orientation Program – 2025

The Department of Business Administration, Nandkunvarba Mahila BBA College, successfully organized a two-day seminar on 3rd and 4th July 2025 to welcome the first-year BBA students and guide them toward a brighter academic and professional future. The event featured a lineup of experienced educators and motivational speakers who addressed various essential topics related to management education, career opportunities, personality development, and entrepreneurship. The sessions proved to be highly insightful, helping students understand the value of the BBA course and the possibilities it opens up.

📅 Day 1: 3rd July 2025, Session – 1 – Understanding the “Why” and “What Next”

The first session of the seminar began at 08:30 AM with the topic “Why BBA?” delivered by Prof. Dr. V. V. PandyaDean and Head of the Department of Business Administration, MKBU. Dr. V. V. Pandya provided a deep understanding of the BBA course structure, its interdisciplinary nature, and how it develops critical business and leadership skills among students. He emphasized that BBA is not just an academic program but a foundation for building successful careers in management, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship. His session was filled with real-world examples and life lessons that motivated the new students to explore their full potential.

📅 Day 1: 3rd July 2025, Session – 2 – Job Opportunities after BBA

At 10:30 AM, the second session began on the topic “Job Opportunities after BBA,” presented by Dr. Rajesh BhattAssociate Professor, Department of Business Administration, MKBU. Dr. R. J. Bhatt shed light on various career paths available to BBA graduates in both public and private sectors. He spoke about corporate roles in marketing, human resource management, banking, retail, logistics, and the potential for further studies like MBA or professional certifications. His talk included practical tips on resume writing, internships, and the importance of soft skills, which proved highly valuable for the Students.

📅 Day 2: 4th July 2025, Session – 1 – Shaping Personality & Entrepreneurial Spirit

The second day began at 08:30 AM with a powerful motivational session on “Positive Attitude Shapes Personality” conducted by Mr. Nareshbhai Maheta, a renowned motivational speaker. Mr. Maheta inspired the students to adopt a positive outlook toward life and studies. He encouraged them to develop confidence, emotional intelligence, and a growth mindset. Using humorous anecdotes, relatable stories, and interactive activities, he made the session enjoyable and memorable for everyone. Students walked away with a renewed sense of self-belief and enthusiasm.

📅 Day 2: 4th July 2025, Session – 2 – How to Start a New Business after BBA

The final session of the seminar was held at 10:30 AM, focusing on “How to Start a New Business after BBA,” delivered by Dr. Jay Badiyani, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration, MKBU. Dr. Jay Badiyani explained how students can use the knowledge gained during the BBA program to start their own ventures. He covered key aspects of entrepreneurship such as idea generation, business planning, market research, and funding options. His session inspired many to think beyond traditional employment and consider themselves as future entrepreneurs.

Conclusion

The two-day seminar served as an eye-opener and motivational start for the New BBA batch. It not only introduced them to the scope and benefits of their course but also guided them on how to shape their future through positivity, planning, and passion. The Department of Business Administration deserves applause for curating such a thoughtful and impactful event.
