On 12th September 2024, an insightful guest lecture on Business Communication was organized for our students, focusing on one of the most crucial aspects of effective communication—listening. We were honored to have Dr. Himanshu Shrivastava, an esteemed Assistant Professor at Government Engineering College, as the keynote speaker for the session.
Dr. Shrivastava captivated the audience with his engaging discussion on the topic “Types of Listening.” He emphasized how active listening plays a pivotal role in personal and professional communication. The lecture provided valuable insights into the various types of listening, which are essential for fostering better understanding and improving interactions in both corporate and everyday settings.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students had the opportunity to ask Dr. Shrivastava about real-world applications of the different types of listening in business environments.
