On February 10, 2025, the students of BA & MA Psychology Department at Nandkuvarba Mahila College, affiliated with Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University, undertook an educational visit to the Mental Health Hospital in Ahmedabad, where they gained in-depth insights into various mental disorders and their treatments. During the visit, they received valuable guidance from Professor Dr. Ashwin Jansari, Former Head of the Psychology Department and Coordinator of PGDCP at Gujarat University, along with Psychiatrist Arpan Nayak, Psychologist Chinmay Desai, and their team. Additionally, the students visited the Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) in Ahmedabad, where Ami Madam and Aniket Patel provided insightful guidance on self-reliance and career development. A noteworthy highlight of the visit was the appreciation expressed by Professor Dr. Ashwin Jansari, who, impressed by the students’ enthusiasm and keen interest in psychology, generously arranged refreshments for them, offering a unique opportunity for interaction and discussion.
