Sociology and English Visit

On February 8, 2025 (Saturday), Nandkunvarba Mahila Arts College organized an educational visit for B.A. and M.A. students specializing in Sociology and English to Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad. This visit was an integral part of their academic curriculum, providing them with firsthand exposure to significant institutions established by Mahatma Gandhi, including Shri Morarji Desai Smriti Bhavan, Vigyan Bhavan, the Tribal Research and Training Center’s ‘Tribal Museum,’ and the library. Such visits enhance students’ understanding by allowing them to experience these establishments directly. The visit was further enriched by the valuable guidance and support provided by Dr. Prasanna Gandhi and his team at Gujarat Vidyapith. Additionally, the students also visited the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, deepening their insight into Gandhi’s legacy and principles.
