The Mind Club of the Psychology Department at Nandkunvarba Mahila College (Arts Faculty) organized the activity “Cognitive Connection”.
As part of this initiative, students created models based on various psychological Development Theories and Learning Theories.
Key models included:
Developmental Theories: Freud’s Psychosexual Development Stages, Erikson’s Psychosocial Development, Piaget’s Cognitive Development Theory, and Kohlberg’s Moral Development Theory.
Watson’s Little Albert Experiment, Pavlov’s Classical Conditioning, Skinner’s Operant Conditioning, Bandura’s Observational Learning, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Kohler’s Insight Learning, and Thorndike’s Trial and Error Learning.
Additionally, engaging mind games were a major attraction. The activity aimed to demonstrate how these models can be practically applied in real-life scenarios, child development, and education.
