The P.G Centre of M.com Nandkuvarba Mahila College was established in the year 2014. The department has provided a team of experienced and rich resource persons and faculty. The department offers a 2 year full time course in Master of Commerce. A society of skilled professionals and entrepreneurs equipped with qualities of innovation, integrity, leadership and environmental concern. To provide a platform for the all-round development of students and to equip them with knowledge to ethically face global challenges of trade, commerce and industry globally.
With the changing scenario of development and focus to skill based education, the faculty is continuously organizing the training programme to improve the employability of the students of Commerce faculty. The Department organized regular visits to Industries, and arranges seminars, guest lectures and workshops for proper exposure of students. Department organized one day Workshop under the title of “wisdom” at 26 th September 2022. This programme was held in two sessions to inspire students and learn more about E-commerce and Entrepreneurship. The aim was to create awareness about the E-commerce and encouraging youth for developing Entrepreneurship skill. The participants were provided Certificate
for participation in the workshop.
Session 01 :
The first session stated at 01:00, With a view to provide exposure to the students in the area of E-Marketing and E-Commerce, Dr. Hitesh Vyas (Designation: Associate Professor and Head of Business Management Department , M.J. College of Commerce, Bhavnagar) addressed the participants on the importance of Electronic mode of marketing and commerce, opportunities available in the E-commerce. He further spoke about the various issues and procedure for entering into E-markets in India and explained the risk associated with it. Lastly Dr. Hitesh Vyas asked the participants to raise their doubts and motivated them for exploring own skill.
Session 02 :
The second session was held at 02:00 pm. The resource person for the session was Mr. Apurva G. Sheth, Very Prominent Industrialist, Builder and Developer at bhavanagar, Founder & managing Director of “Sheth Group of Company”, 160, Madhav Darshan, Waghavadi Road, Bhavnagar. He has Educationally Qualified with Master of Engineering in Civil, P.G.D.C.A., P.G.D.M.M., LLB, and MIE. They also engage in Manufacturing of Electronic Transmission Poles, Software Development, Project Consultancy Work, and Selan Concrete Toilet Manufacturing. The speaker, Mr. Apurva Sheth stated their speech with shearing his journey of becoming businessman and spoke on the developing various ideas about Start up, basic about becoming entrepreneur and lastly the ask some question to the Students and solve the various questions from the side of students.
