Nandkunvarba Mahila College’s B.Com Department, through the Expert Club, hosted a guest lecture today featuring Mr. Jigneshkumar Gangadiya, a State Tax Officer-Class 2 from Bhavnagar. The insightful session delved into the intricacies of Goods and Services Tax (GST), covering fundamental aspects such as its basic information, non-subsumed taxes, and the transformative impact on the tax landscape before and after implementation. Mr. Gangadiya elucidated on GST rates, tax structure, registration processes, GSTIN details, return filing procedures, and provided a comprehensive understanding of revenue collection, scrutiny of returns, and GST audits. The lecture proved invaluable for our students, enhancing their knowledge of this crucial taxation framework.
