Human Resource Management and Development-Guest Lecture

The M.com Department of Nandkunvarba Mahila College organized a Guest Lecture in “Human Resource Management and Development” for All (Semester – 01 & 03) of the students on 14^th August 2024 from 01:00 PM to 02:30 PM. The topic of the lecture was “Planning, training & development in HR Department of Company”.

Mr. Tyag N Mehta, HR Manager, Personnel Department, Sumitomo Chemical India Pvt. Ltd, Bhavnagar, and Mr Vanrajsinh Chavada, Personal Relationship Manager (PRO), Sumitomo Chemical India Pvt. Ltd, Bhavnagar, was the resource person for the session Mr. Tyag N. Mehta explained to the students the different function of Human Resource Department and their roll in Company.

The students were imparted knowledge about the basics of human resource management and CSR functions performed by companies in India with detailed knowledge about all the contemporary trends & issues in the Indian scenario. Mr. Vanrajsinh Chavda also threw light upon various other important scenarios of needs and role of personal relationship for company. The session was a good learning experience for the students as they also got answers to their queries pertaining to management of big company and human resource function i.e. recruitment and training and would surely help them to give proper shape to their careers.
