ONE-DAY SYMPOSIUM

Under the joint auspices of the Gujarat Sahitya Academy and the Research and Development Cell of Nandkuvarba Mahila Arts College, a one-day symposium was organized by the Gujarati Department on the occasion of Mother Language Day on February 20, 2025.

The event featured distinguished speakers, including Dr. Binaben Pandya (Associate Professor of Gujarati, Government Science College, Talaja), who delivered an insightful lecture on the significance of the mother tongue.

Additionally, Ms. Kalindi Ben Parikh (Gujarati language author) was present as the second keynote speaker, offering a thought-provoking discourse on the preservation and promotion of the mother tongue.

A total of 275 students registered for the event and gained valuable insights into the importance of their mother language.
